Brenda Kliesen is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in designing power distribution and lighting systems across various project types, including museums, federal government buildings, military facilities, retail spaces, and office buildings. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since May 2022 and as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Lu + S ENGINEERS, PLLC since April 2017, Brenda previously held the position of Electrical Engineer at Integral Group, Inc. and worked with H&A Architects & Engineers and Teng & Associates, Inc. Brenda Kliesen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University and an Associate of Science degree in Pre-Engineering from Dodge City Community College. Additional expertise includes performing load calculations, lighting design, and ensuring code compliance, complemented by certifications in lighting and LEED AP BD+C.
