Marios Falaris

Doctoral Student at Johns Hopkins University

Marios Falaris is a Doctoral Student at The Johns Hopkins University, where Falaris has been involved as a Public Humanities Fellow at the Tabb Center in the Sheridan Libraries since September 2016. Experience includes serving as a Research Assistant for the Society for Cultural Anthropology at the American Anthropological Association from February 2023 to August 2023, and as a Research Fellow at the American Institute of Indian Studies from February 2022 to November 2022. Falaris held the position of Fulbright-Nehru Research Scholar during the 2019-2020 academic year and served as a William J. Clinton Fellow for Service in India with the American India Foundation from December 2014 to August 2015. Additionally, Falaris was a Fox International Fellow at Yale University from September 2014 to August 2015. Educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science in Anthropology and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnicity, Race & Migration and Political Science from Yale University.
