Chris Erb

Ph.d. Student Researcher at Johns Hopkins University

Chris Erb is a dynamic professional with a diverse range of experiences in research and technology development. Currently serving as a Research Intern at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Chris engages in DNA nanotechnology research within the Soft and Bio Nanomaterials Group. As a Co-Founder of Intelli-Tex LLC, a smart materials start-up supported by the National Security Innovation Network, Chris leads a technical team in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program. Prior roles include Technical Program Manager at Empathy FX International, where Chris facilitated technology access and training in Ghana, Research Assistant positions at Howell Biointerface and Biomimetics Lab and UMaine Advanced Structures & Composites Center, and experience as a Visiting Student Researcher at Universidad de Concepción. Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine.
