Alexandra Phelan is a Senior Scholar at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Alexandra previously held positions at Georgetown University Medical Center and Law Center, as well as at the World Health Organization, the World Bank Group, and other institutions. Alexandra has extensive experience in global health law, infectious disease response, and legal analysis, and has expertise in areas such as public health law, ethics, and human rights. Alexandra holds a Doctorate of Law in Global Health Law, an LLM in International Law, and a Bachelor of Laws among other degrees. Alexandra has made significant contributions to the field through their research, teaching, and consulting work.
