Barry Jones MRICS is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in the retail sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Construction at John Lewis Partnership since April 2018, Barry oversees construction projects within the John Lewis Department store and all Waitrose construction and maintenance activities. Prior to this, Barry held the position of Development Programme Manager at Waitrose from January 2003 to April 2018, successfully leading a construction team with an annual expenditure of £200m for new developments, extensions, and refurbishments. Barry's earlier roles include National Construction Manager at Lidl UK, Senior Project Manager at London Borough of Merton, Project Manager at Robinson Kenning and Gallagher, and Trainee Project Manager at John Collins Associates. Barry holds a CEM Diploma in Surveying from Reading University, obtained in 1996.
