David Thorne is an experienced executive with a long tenure at John Deere, currently serving as Vice President of the Turf and Compact Utility Business Unit. Thorne has held various leadership roles, including SVP of Global Sales, Marketing and Business Development for the C&F Division, and President of John Deere Water. Prior positions include Director of Global Marketing & Support, Director of Corporate Strategy, and sales management roles across multiple regions. Prior to John Deere, Thorne worked as a Graduate Assistant at Clemson University and as a Market Planner at UTICOR Technology. Thorne holds a B.S. in Marketing with a minor in Psychology from Bradley University and an MBA from Clemson University, complemented by studies at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
