Michel Vanhaesbroucke currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer for M&A, Corporate Development & Public Affairs at John Cockerill, a position held since January 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing group strategy, synthesizing business strategies, facilitating partnerships, and managing significant investments, particularly in renewables and hydrogen. Previously, Michel held the role of Directeur at EDF Pulse Croissance from September 2015 to January 2022, focusing on developing new business activities through corporate venture investments and project incubation. Prior experience also includes roles at ENGIE, where Michel was Directeur Processus Stratégique Groupe and Directeur Energies France Entreprises et Collectivités, concentrating on B2B energy services and new energy project development. Michel graduated with an engineering degree in industrial engineering from École Polytechnique and École des Ponts ParisTech.
