A Barrister-at-Law, Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Kay Hock is a lawyer by training having been called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, UK in 1971. In 1972, he was admitted as an advocate and solicitor to the Supreme Court of Malaysia. He is a non-practising lawyer. Since 1982, he is the non-Executive Chairman of George Kent (Malaysia) Berhad (“GKM”), listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Tan Sri Dato’ Tan Kay Hock was appointed to the Board on 5 November 1980. He is the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee.
