Tim Sylvester has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim is currently employed at Joby Aviation as a Software Engineer since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Netflix as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2019 to July 2022. Tim also gained experience at Facebook as a Software Engineer/Test Automation from August 2017 to August 2019. Before Facebook, Tim worked as a Comms Integration Engineer at Nest from January 2015 to July 2017 and as a Software Engineer in Test at Google during the same time period. Their earlier roles include working as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems from May 2012 to October 2014. Before that, Tim was a Network Security Engineer at Network RADIUS from May 2008 to June 2012, where they provided support and consulting services for FreeRADIUS. Tim Co-Founded Rubato Media Systems from September 2007 to December 2008, and prior to that, they were a Sr. Product Manager at Infoblox from June 2005 to September 2007. Tim's career started as a Founder at Molino Networks from August 2001 to September 2004.

Tim Sylvester obtained a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, graduating in 1987.
