Taravat Sharafat's work experience includes roles at various companies. In 2018, they worked as a Trainee at Emirates, where they performed automatic eddy current testing for inspecting aircraft wheels and brakes, tested and repaired aircraft engines, and improved the appearance and functionality of interior furnishings and safety equipment. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as a Production Associate at Tesla, assembling door components for Tesla Model 3 vehicles and conducting quality checks. In 2021, they served as a Bootcamp Teaching Assistant at UC Berkeley Extension, assisting the instructor and students with data analytics challenges. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Joby Aviation.

Taravat Sharafat obtained a High School Diploma in Science from Al khaleej National School between the years 2009 and 2015. Taravat then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Emirates Aviation University and Coventry University, completing the program between 2015 and 2019. In 2021, Taravat Sharafat earned a Certificate in Data Analytics and Visualization from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, they obtained the International Computer Drivers License (ICDL) certification from ECDL/ICDL Certification in April 2014.
