Starner Vechery serves as the Site Manager for Early Operations at Joby Aviation since September 2022, where responsibilities include managing DoD contract deliverables, leading communication with Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) and Toyota Motor Corporation, and representing Joby in discussions with NASA and other stakeholders. Prior experience includes an Early Operations & Strategy Fellowship with Air Force Materiel Command and various leadership roles within Air Force Special Operations Command, including UAV Test Pilot and Flight Commander. Starner also holds degrees in Computer Science from Cedarville University and Executive Leadership from Liberty University, along with leadership training from the USAF Air Education & Training Command.
