Philipp Waschkeit has gained a diverse range of work experience across various companies and roles. In 2010, they completed an internship at Black Forest Airport Lahr GmbH. Philipp then had an internship at HCL Technologies in 2013 before joining Deutsche Bank in 2012 as part of their Combined Studies Program. At Deutsche Bank, they served as an Apprenticeship-Certified IT Specialist for Application Development from 2012 to 2014 and later became a Business Functional Analyst-Tax Solutions from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, Philipp completed an internship at Brisbane Airport Corporation.

Philipp began working at Frontier Airlines in 2019 as a Financial Planning and Analysis MBA Intern before becoming a Senior Financial Analyst from 2020 to 2021. Philipp then joined Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2018 as a Data Analyst-Business Intelligence until 2019. Currently, Philipp is a Finance Manager at Joby Aviation since October 2021.

Philipp Waschkeit received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Information Technology from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, completing their studies from 2012 to 2016. In 2014, they also studied Business Administration and Management, General at Universidad Mayor for a brief period. Afterwards, in 2014, Philipp obtained a certification as a Certified IT Specialist in Software Development from the Chamber of Commerce (IHK). Philipp further pursued their education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2018 and 2019.
