Matt Huszagh has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as an FPGA/DSP Radar Engineer at Joby Aviation since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Quartiq as an Electrical Engineering/Programming professional from October 2020 to March 2021. From May 2018 to October 2020, Matt was self-employed and engaged in independent study in the field of Electrical Engineering/Programming.
Before their self-employment, Matt worked at J.P. Morgan as a Full-time Analyst in Emerging Markets Trading from August 2015 to May 2018. Matt also served as a Summer Analyst in the same department for two months in 2015.
Additionally, they gained experience as an Implementation Engineer Intern at Opower from June 2014 to August 2014. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Research Intern at CERN from January 2014 to June 2014.
Furthermore, Matt performed Physics Research Assistant work at Georgetown University from February 2013 to September 2013. During this time, they received scholarship funding from Georgetown to work on modeling strain effects on a single layer of MoS2 to optimize electron-phonon coupling. Matt also worked as a Neuroscience Research Assistant at Georgetown University and Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where they conducted syntax-morphology meta-analysis research.
Before entering the academic and professional world, Matt gained experience in farm work in Dordogne, France, from June 2011 to July 2011. Matt also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they focused on researching a cure for diabetes and performed various assays on pancreatic islet cells.
Matt Huszagh completed their high school education at New Trier Township High School from 2007 to 2011, obtaining a High School Diploma. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics & Economics from Georgetown University from 2011 to 2016.
