Yao Morin, Ph.D., serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer at JLL, leading technology and engineering initiatives within JLLT Revenue since April 2020. In April 2021, Yao co-founded InvestInData, an angel collective focused on investing in data startups. Prior experience includes roles as Chief Data Officer and head of Engineering at StubHub, where significant data transformation initiatives were undertaken, and Head of Data Science at Intuit, overseeing a rapid expansion of the data science team. Yao's earlier positions feature research scientist roles at Intellisis and Parietal Systems, contributing to advancements in biometric systems and military surveillance technology, respectively. Yao's academic background includes a Doctorate and Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Bachelor's in Information Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
