Puneet Garg is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as President and Group Wireline CTO at Jio since October 2021, where leadership encompasses the architecture and design of a vast IP transport and fiber network across India. Prior to this, Puneet held notable positions such as CTO Enterprise at smartfren. BUSINESS and CTO and Director of Operations at MyRepublic ID, focusing on customer-centric strategies and fiber asset management. Puneet also served as Director - CTO and CIO at IndosatM2, guiding the FTTH and B2B business strategies, and held multiple senior roles at Bharti Airtel, contributing to the rollout of advanced technologies including FTTH and 4G LTE. Early career experience includes sales and pre-sales support roles at Lucent Technologies. Puneet holds a BE in Electronics from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology and has completed the Leadership in Action Program at INSEAD.
