Jiaquan YAO is a Professor of Finance at Jinan University since July 2017, with research interests including Corporate Finance, Labor and Finance, Information Economics, FinTech, and Textual Analysis. Prior to this role, Jiaquan YAO served as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Xiamen University from September 2014 to June 2017 and briefly held the position of Visiting PhD Student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in April and May 2014. Jiaquan YAO holds a PhD in Finance from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, a Master of Arts in Economics (Econometrics) from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Engineering from the same institution.
