Pius Essandoh is an experienced health professional currently serving as Deputy Chief of Party and Technical Director at Jhpiego since November 2021, where Pius provides leadership and strategic direction for the USAID-funded Strategic Technical Assistance for Health Improvement (STAIP), focusing on malaria prevention and case management. Previously, as Project Director at Jhpiego, Pius led the development of workplans for the Momentum Country and Global Leadership Program and oversaw its implementation in Ghana. Pius began a career in healthcare as a Clinician at the 37 Military Hospital, managing various medical emergencies.
