Dan Luckett has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the renewable energy, engineering, and metallurgy industries. Dan began their career at ASARCO as a Technical Engineer and Metallurgist. Dan then worked as a Smelter Superintendent at Copper Range Company before moving on to Townes Site Engineering as a CAD Technician. Following that, they worked at Delta-T Corporation as a Principle Engineer and at Global Ethanol as the Manager of Operations. Dan then joined Green Plains Renewable Energy as a General Manager and eventually became the General Manager at Columbia Pacific Bio-Refinery, overseeing the operations of a dry-mill ethanol facility.
Dan Luckett attended Bozeman Senior High School from 1976 to 1980 in Bozeman. After completing high school, they went on to study Chemical Engineering at Montana State University-Bozeman from 1980 to 1984, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (BSChE).
