Kate Shephard is an experienced event management professional with a strong background in fundraising and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Special Events at Jewish Family Service of Colorado since October 2017, Kate previously held positions at Special Olympics Colorado, Morris Animal Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, where strategic planning, event execution, and volunteer management were key responsibilities. With a Bachelor's Degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Northern Colorado, Kate has successfully increased fundraising efforts, developed organizational tools, and implemented marketing strategies, while effectively managing event budgets and contributing to overall organizational goals.
