Denis Dancanet is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Jetoptera. Denis is a co-founder and past CEO of Jetoptera. He is currently President of Cubist Systematic Strategies, the quantitative investing arm of Point72 Asset Management. Before Jetoptera, Denis was Partner at PDT Partners, a leading quantitative hedge fund, and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Denis has a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in the area of theory of programming languages. He triple majored in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. Denis is a private pilot and has had a lifelong interest in aviation.
