Carolyn Blackburne is a multimedia journalist and reporter with extensive experience in hyper-local news reporting across multiple media outlets. Currently serving at News 12 since October 2021, Carolyn pitches engaging stories, produces packages, and maintains an active social media presence with over 10,000 followers on Facebook. Previously, at TEGNA's WNEP, Carolyn consistently broke news, covered significant events, and anchored weekend newscasts, with coverage reaching national outlets such as ABC News and CNN. Carolyn's career also includes roles as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist at Nexstar Media Group, along with various internships in reporting and production at organizations such as WAER and NJTV Studios. Carolyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University, complemented by minors in Information Technology and Political Science.
