Bas van Vlijmen has extensive experience in both the healthcare and volunteer sectors. Currently holding multiple positions, Bas serves as an aspirant board member for Reddingsbrigade Nederland, focusing on volunteer policy, and a member of the Medical Advice Council for Het Hooghuis. In addition, Bas is an AIOS (in-training) pharmacist at Jeroen Bosch Ziekenhuis and acts as treasurer for the Stichting Vrienden van het TBL, advocating for former students and teachers. Bas is also involved with Lionsclubs Nederland and the Nederlandse Vereniging van Ziekenhuisapothekers, contributing to the Special Interest Group Oncology. With a long history in lifesaving instruction at Reddingsbrigade Oss since 1992 and previous roles in various capacities at Golfbad Exploitatie B.V., Bas combines a solid educational background in pharmacy with a commitment to community service.
