Paul Marshall has extensive experience in the energy trading sector, particularly in coal markets. Beginning a career at Faber Maunsell as a Consultant from September 2006 to July 2007, Paul then joined EDF Energy as an Energy Contracts Negotiator and Analyst between September 2007 and November 2011. Following this, Paul held positions at EDF Trading in the Coal Desk from February 2012 to March 2017 and as a Middle Office Analyst for Coal and Freight in a joint venture at Chubu Energy Trading, all preceding the current role at JERA Global Markets on the Coal Desk since April 2017. Paul holds a BSc in Geography from The University of Sheffield, completed in 2006.
