Laxmi Basanagoudar is a seasoned professional in power development and finance, currently serving as the Manager of Power Development & Finance at JERA Americas since April 2022. Previously, Laxmi held the position of Project Finance Manager at Renewable America, where notable achievements included managing the sale of a 34-asset portfolio in solar and energy storage, conducting financial feasibility analyses, and overseeing complex negotiations. Laxmi's experience also encompasses various roles at Suvarna Capital Advisors LLP, contributing significantly to the advisory for a 175 MW solar project in India and establishing the Indian representative office of Suvarna Capital Limited. Laxmi holds a Master of Science in Energy Systems Management from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University, along with a certification in Financial Modeling & Valuation Analysis from the Corporate Finance Institute.
