Matthew McGillis has over 25 years of experience in the IT field. Matthew began their career in 1991 as a System Administrator for the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 1994, they became a System Administrator for State Street and then transitioned to AT&T - Get Wireless Now in 1995 as a System Administrator. In 1996, they moved to the Port of Seattle as a System Administrator and in 1997 they worked as a Technical Architect for Starbucks and a System Administrator for Boeing. In 1998, they became a System Performance Test Manager for Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. and in 1999 they were a Technical Consultant for Boeing. Finally, in 1997 they founded and became the Principal Engineer of Jenika, Inc., where they have provided a wide range of IT consulting services for companies based on customer requirements and needs. Projects have ranged from web development, web services, performance evaluation, software development, software engineering, system administration, and more.
Matthew McGillis completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Oregon State University between 1986 and 1990. Matthew then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California between 1991 and 1993.
