Daniel W. is an accomplished maintenance and engineering leader with extensive experience in the mining and construction sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Maintenance & Engineering at Jellinbah Mining since March 2020, Daniel is responsible for directing all maintenance and engineering activities in an open cut coal mine operation. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions at Holcim Australia & New Zealand as the National Maintenance & Asset Reliability Manager and at Yancoal Australia Ltd, where responsibilities included asset management oversight and operational improvements. With a foundation in project engineering from Rio Tinto Coal Australia and Boral Construction Materials, Daniel possesses a strong background in managing significant capital projects and enhancing equipment performance. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland and ongoing studies towards a Graduate Certificate in Business at Melbourne Business School. Daniel also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Australian Society for Quality.
