Jas Hayes serves as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at JELD-WEN, Inc. since August 2018, having previously held the title of SVP, Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at the company, which operates as a $4 billion manufacturer of windows and doors globally. Prior experience includes serving as Special Counsel at Lorenz & Kopf, LLP, and Assistant General Counsel at Axalta Coating Systems, overseeing legal matters for significant business segments and supporting board operations. Jas Hayes also held the position of Vice President, Associate General Counsel at Ricoh USA, managing a large transactional legal group, and began a legal career as an Associate and law clerk at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. The legal career started in the Army National Guard, where roles included Judge Advocate and Cavalry Scout. Education includes a JD from Villanova University, earned magna cum laude, and a BA from Emory University.
