Don Bacon is an experienced education professional with a robust background in innovative technology and instructional leadership. Currently serving at Jefferson County Public Schools since January 2010, Don has held multiple roles including Innovative Technology Specialist, Technical Digital Innovation Leader, High School Engineering and Technology Teacher, School Technology Coordinator, and High School Social Studies Teacher. Additionally, Don served as the Director of Education for the Future of Work Initiative powered by Microsoft from June 2021 to September 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development and a Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Louisville, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Western Kentucky University.
