Sam Burwell, CFA, serves as a Vice President at Jefferies, specializing in desk analysis for event-driven strategies and energy equity research since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sam held the position of Director at UBS, focusing on North American integrated and E&P equity research from July 2021 to April 2022. Sam's experience also includes a Vice President role at Wolfe Research, LLC, concentrating on refining and integrated oils equity research from October 2017 to July 2021, and similar positions at Canaccord Genuity Inc. and Buckingham Research Group in oil & gas E&P equity research. Sam earned a BA in Economics from Colgate University between 2007 and 2011.
