Paul Alan Ayre is an experienced project engineer with a focus on subsea cables and accessories within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at JDR Cable Systems since November 2019, Paul’s role involves project engineering and management for floating wind projects. Previous experience includes project engineering positions at Electrical Distribution Services, Boskalis Subsea, Tekmar, Technip, and Prysmian, where responsibilities encompassed high voltage cable installation, design engineering, and project management. Paul also has a solid educational foundation with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Teesside and Teesside University, respectively. Certifications include BOSIET, ENG1 Medical, and various health and safety training.
