Jiayi (Carrie) Wei has a diverse work experience starting with an entry-level position as an SAS Consultant at Base 3 Systems in 2018. From there, they worked as an Accounting Intern at Thyssenkrupp Elevator (zhongshan) Ltd. in 2015. In 2018, they joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Credit Risk Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Senior Credit Risk Analyst in 2020. In 2021, Jiayi became a Taekwondo Instructor at De Montfort University. Currently, they are working as an Analytical Consultant at Jaywing since 2022.

Carrie Wei completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting and Finance at De Montfort University from 2014 to 2016. Jiayi (Carrie) then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Analytic Consulting at Loughborough University from 2016 to 2017. In addition to their education, Carrie obtained a SAS Certificate of Achievement from Loughborough University in March 2018 and earned a 1st Degree TKD Black Belt from Global Taekwondo United Kingdom in April 2017.
