Hector Soriano Alfonso is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the R&D Manager at JATCO Ltd since June 2014, where leadership involves pioneering the next generation of electrified powertrains. Prior roles include R&D Assistant Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading a team to develop high-performance automatic transmissions for the Nissan Renault Alliance, and Project Leader at Nissan Technical Center Europe. Hector's earlier experience includes positions as a test engineer at Applus IDIADA, focusing on HVAC and engine cooling, and as an Energy Infrastructures developer at Barcelona Regional. In academia, Hector served as a professor in various engineering subjects at the Centre d'Estudis Universitaris Superiors. Hector holds a Master's degree from Nagaoka University of Technology and an engineering degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
