Anita Pepper, Ph.D. serves as the Executive Director of the Jane Coffin Childs Memorial Fund for Medical Research since August 2022, engaging with the community to advance its mission in supporting early career biomedical researchers. Prior to this role, Anita held the position of Vice President at The Wistar Institute from 2015 to July 2022 and worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts from October 2008 to November 2015 in various capacities, including Director of Pew Biomedical Programs. Anita's experience also includes membership at HRA and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2008. Educational credentials encompass a Bachelor's Degree in Plant Sciences from Cornell University, a Ph.D. in Developmental Genetics from New York University, and a Master's Degree in Plant Systematics from New York University and New York Botanical Garden.
