Martha B. Katz-Hyman is an experienced cultural heritage professional with a diverse background in museum studies and collections management. Currently volunteering with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, Martha collaborates on various projects and has previously served as Assistant Curator for the "Forgotten Soldier" exhibit, contributing to exhibit development and artifact management. Martha’s involvement extends to membership in the Virginia Association of Museums and ALHFAM, where significant roles have included committee memberships and workshop presentations. Prior positions include Curator at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown and Collections Manager at Chippokes Plantation State Park. Martha holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from SUNY Oneonta and a B.A. in American Studies from Simmons University.
