Patrice Ludwig currently serves as the Interim Assistant Vice Provost for Research and Innovation and is an Associate Professor at James Madison University since August 2012, focusing on biology and teaching core courses, while also engaging in course development and research at JMU X-Labs. Previously, Patrice held the position of Visiting Assistant Professor at Hampden-Sydney College from August 2008 to May 2009. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from the University of Virginia, earned from 2002 to 2008, a Master of Science in Biology from James Madison University obtained between 1999 and 2001, and a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from James Madison University completed from 1992 to 1996.
