Jiajia Yang is a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University since March 2023, previously serving as a Senior Power System Engineer at Energy Corporation of NSW from May to December 2022, and as a Senior Research Associate at UNSW from April 2018 to April 2022. Jiajia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electricity Retail and Data Mining in Smart Grid from UNSW, University of Sydney, and University of Newcastle, where the same degree was obtained from 2016 to 2018 and 2014 to 2016, respectively. Jiajia also earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Zhejiang University and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical Engineering from Northeast Electric Power University.
