Amal Alnajjad has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.
In 2015, they worked as an IT Technical and Sales Executive at Damascus University, where they led a technical team and managed sales operations for hardware technologies.
Amal then moved on to work as an Assistant Manager at the Syrian Researchers Foundation from December 2016 to April 2019. In this role, they led a team producing and publishing English articles and research in the field of Engineering and Technology.
From November 2016 to December 2018, Amal worked as Vice President for Individual Area and Project Manager at JCI (Junior Chamber International). Amal'sresponsibilities included guiding personal skills trainings and workshops, as well as planning social and business events and activities.
Amal also served as a Founder, Organizer, Licensee, and Curator at TED Conferences from July 2017 to July 2018. Within this role, they led a team of volunteers to organize and launch a TEDx event, managing all aspects including marketing, sponsorship, media coverage, and technical work.
Amal worked as a Youth Program Coordinator at Syria Trust for Development from April 2018 to May 2019. In this position, they led initiatives in social development, guided personal skills trainings and workshops, and created program plans including marketing strategies.
In 2020, they joined Syrian Telecom as a Network Specialist from November 2020 to May 2021.
Amal also worked as an Account and Project Manager & Marketing Specialist at Marketing Dot Limited from July 2020 to June 2022. Amal'sresponsibilities included creating business plans, developing marketing strategies, managing clients' projects, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
Most recently, Amal joined jalebi.io as a Customer Success Lead in June 2022. jalebi.io is a Techstars-backed technology venture that aims to revolutionize the restaurant industry with an innovative inventory-first operating system. In this role, they focus on improving customer satisfaction and driving business growth.
Amal Alnajjad completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Damascus University, graduating between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended Aleppo University from 2008 to 2012, focusing on Telecommunications Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Amal has obtained various certifications. Amal has completed courses such as "Create a Customer Satisfaction Survey in Qualtrics" from Coursera in September 2022, and "Measure and Optimize Social Media Marketing Campaigns," "Advertising with Meta," "Fundamentals of Social Media Advertising," "Social Media Management," and "Introduction to Social Media Marketing" from Meta in 2022. Amal also completed an "Introduction to Business Management" course at King's College London in June 2020. Furthermore, they obtained several project management-related certifications from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education through Coursera in 2020. Lastly, in November 2016, Amal obtained an IELTS Academic certification from IDP Education Ltd.
