Prof Alex Mouzakitis has extensive experience in the automotive engineering sector, currently serving as the Director of Digital Product Trust and Compliance at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) since December 2002. In this role, Prof Mouzakitis oversees critical areas such as cyber security, software updates, export controls, sanctions, and data privacy, leading significant initiatives including the first-ever Cyber Security Management System certification for JLR. Additionally, Prof Mouzakitis holds the position of Industrial Professor of Automotive Systems at WMG, University of Warwick, contributing to advanced research in automotive technologies. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in relevant fields, complemented by prior work in control systems engineering and a strong foundation in integrated manufacturing technology.
