Elizabeth Dean is an experienced professional with a diverse background in outreach, education, and digital media strategy within the food systems sector. Currently serving as the Associate Editor of Outreach and Engagement at JAFSCD, Elizabeth has led digital media initiatives and crafted various outreach materials. Previous roles include Technical Consultant for the World Food Programme, Outreach Coordinator for the Sustainable Education Agriculture Association, and Education Program Manager for Oregon Tilth, where Elizabeth focused on partner onboarding and stakeholder coordination. As the founder of On the Table Supper Club, Elizabeth connected industry professionals through immersive experiences. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Food Policy from City, University of London, a BSc in Public Health with a focus on Global Health and Food Insecurity from Portland State University, and an AAS in Culinary Arts from Western Culinary Institute.
