Carl Weckenmann serves as the AVP/Chief Mobility Officer at Jacksonville Transportation Authority since December 2024, previously holding the position of Principal at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates from April 2020 to December 2024. At Jacksonville Transportation Authority, Carl also worked as the Director of Transit Planning and Senior Manager of System Planning from June 2013 to April 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Managing Director of Strategic Planning at Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority and Transit System Planner at Fort Worth Transportation Authority, where key projects involved strategic planning and environmental policy development. Earlier positions include Planning Manager at Denton County Transportation Authority and Grants Specialist at the University of Oklahoma. Carl holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Conception Seminary College.
