Phil Rauscher enters his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars as the team's offensive line coach following two seasons as a member of the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff. Rauscher served as the assistant offensive line coach in 2020 before being promoted to offensive line coach in 2021.

In 2021, the Vikings offensive line, led by Rauscher, allowed 30 sacks, the fifth-fewest in the NFL. RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 1,159 yards behind the Vikings offensive line and was selected to the Pro Bowl for the third straight season. In addition, OT Brian O'Neill was a Pro Bowl selection, his first Pro Bowl since being drafted in 2018. In 2020, the Vikings offense ranked fourth in the NFL in total offense and fifth in rushing offense. Cook posted a career-high 1,557 yards rushing and 16 TDs, ranking second in the NFL in rushing yardage. The offense scored 55 TDs in 2020, the second-most TDs generated by a Vikings offense in franchise history. Cook earned a Pro Bowl berth and All-Pro accolades during the campaign.

Rauscher spent the 2018-19 seasons with the Washington Commanders. He was promoted from assistant offensive line coach to offensive line coach when Bill Callahan was appointed interim head coach prior Washington's sixth game of the season. In the 11 games Rauscher served as the offensive line coach, the team totaled 1,239 rushing yards and 4.62 yards per carry, eighth-highest in the NFL. The offensive line helped RB Adrian Peterson become the first Washington running back to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards since 2014.

Prior to joining the Commanders, Rauscher spent three seasons in Denver. He served as an assistant to Head Coach Vance Joseph in 2017 and spent the 2015-16 seasons as an offensive assistant and won Super Bowl 50 in 2015.

Prior to his tenure in Denver, Rauscher spent one season as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at California Lutheran following two seasons as tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator at Hawaii from 2012-13.

Rauscher spent the 2011 season at the University of Utah, where he was an administrative assistant and tight ends coach. Prior to his time at Utah, he served as offensive coordinator at Dixie State University in 2010. After earning his bachelor's degree in history, Rauscher served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, UCLA, from 2008-09, assisting with the tight ends. Rauscher began his coaching career at UCLA in 2006 as an undergraduate assistant and earned three letters as an offensive lineman before injuries cut his career short.
