Jamera Barnes has extensive experience in education and leadership roles, currently serving as Data and Assessment Lead at Jackson Public Schools since August 2008, with additional responsibilities as a Science Educator, Science Curriculum Lead for the Middle Level Division, and District Lead Science Academic Coach. Alongside this, Jamera Barnes has worked as a Virtual Assistant for CRUDUP PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES LLC since January 2022 and has been an Independent Travel Agent with The Rever Travel Agency since February 2019. Jamera Barnes holds a Sports Administration Certification from Belhaven University (2016), a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Belhaven University (2014), and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Jackson State University (2008).
