Jackson Oaks began their career in 2017 as a Software Engineer at DVO Enterprises, where they developed weekly web pages in HTML and eventually worked up to a mobile Swift engineer. Jackson was also granted resources to begin development and investigation of an Apple Watch app. In 2021, they joined Indicio as a Software Engineer. In 2022, they became a Mobile Engineer at Callware Technologies, where they were one of the primary developers on a production-level app called Lochbox. Jackson was responsible for developing features, updating the end user experience, debugging, and improving error-handling of the entire app. Jackson also became a Mobile Engineer at Jackrabbit Online Class Management Software.

Jackson Oaks obtained a GED from the Lumen Scholar Institute between 2017 and 2019.
