Bertrand Lecourt is a highly experienced finance professional, currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Thematic Investing at J O Hambro Capital Management since April 2021, specializing in global equities with a focus on sustainability and impact assessment. Prior to this role, Bertrand held positions at Fidelity International, Polar Capital, and AQUILYS INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT LTD, where expertise in thematic investing, particularly in the water and waste management sectors, was developed. Earlier career experience includes significant roles at Deutsche Bank and Dresdner Kleinwort, where Bertrand led equity research efforts in European utilities. Bertrand's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in International Finance from HEC Paris, an M.Sc. in Money, Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham, and a DEA in Monetary Economics from the University of Orleans, France.
