Monica Stage currently serves as the Executive Director of J.J. KELLER FOUNDATION, INC. since November 2022. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Deputy Director of Community Development for the City of Appleton from May 1999 to November 2022, where responsibilities included leading a staff team in various programs such as economic development and community grants and overseeing the preparation of budgets. Additionally, Monica was a Business Development Specialist at the City of Appleton, initiating the E-Seed entrepreneurship training program. Earlier experience includes serving as a Planner & Grant Writer at Foth & Van Dyke and Associates, Inc., where successful grant applications exceeding one million dollars were authored. Monica holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Studies from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, as well as completing coursework in General Studies at Lawrence University.
