Alicia Roy, Ph.D., currently serves as the Career Services, Outreach, and Science Education Manager at Gladstone Institutes, where responsibilities include managing career pathways programs for postdoctoral scholars and graduate students, planning events, and enhancing community engagement. Prior experience includes roles at UC Berkeley Graduate Division as both Hitchcock Postdoctoral Scholar and Professional Development Liaison, focusing on professional development resources and coaching. Alicia completed a Ph.D. in German Studies at UC Berkeley, where research and teaching roles were undertaken, including Graduate Student Instructor and Assistant Language Coordinator positions. Additional contributions to academic and community settings include mentoring undergraduates and leading projects like the Beyond Academia Conference. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies and German Studies from Scripps College.
