Stanley Simon has over 20 years of experience in the educational publishing industry. Stanley started their career as an Educational Consultant at Harcourt Publishing in 1997 and worked there until 2002. Stanley then joined McGraw-Hill Publishing as a Director of Business Development, where they established and maintained school contacts throughout the United States. After that, they worked as a Vice-President at S N A Group from 2009-2011, specializing in educational consulting and recruiting key staff members for publishers. From 2010-2011, they served as the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions-District Partnerships at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. In 2012, they founded their own company, ABC Educational Consulting Group LLC, where they held the position of President. Since 2016, Stanley has been working as the Director of Business Development at IXL Learning.

Stanley Simon attended Queens College from 1962 to 1970, although it is not mentioned if they obtained any degree or field of study during this period. From 1966 to 1968, Stanley pursued a Master of Education degree with a focus on Education at The City University of New York. Subsequently, they returned to Queens College and completed a degree in Educational Administration with a specialization in Educational Administration from 1970 to 1973.
