Tamara Contreras Gomez possesses extensive experience in laboratory techniques across various fields, particularly in vitro fertilization and microbiology. Currently serving as a laboratory technician at IVI RMA GLOBAL since February 2017, responsibilities include performing ICSI, vitrification, embryo transfers, and handling embryo transportation. Previous roles include positions at Laboratori de Referència de Catalunya, SA, where expertise in microbiology was developed through manual and automated plating, antibiogram creation, and antigen detection. At REFERENCE LABORATORY SA, Tamara specialized in molecular biology techniques, including DNA extraction and PCR. Additionally, significant experience was gained at SYNLAB España in microbiology and serology. Tamara holds a Técnico de diagnóstico clínico degree from Santa Teresa de Jesús and is pursuing a CFGS in Integración Social at Institut Obert de Catalunya.
