Manfredi Ciappa is an experienced professional specializing in functional safety within the automotive sector. Currently serving as Head of Functional Safety and Product Line Functional Safety Manager for Light Commercial Vehicles at IVECO since April 2020, Manfredi oversees the implementation of ISO26262 and SOTIF across various vehicle domains. Manfredi has been a committee member of WG8-ISO26262 & SOTIF with the International Organization for Standardization since December 2015. Previous roles include leadership in eMobility projects at TEXA S.p.A. and managing critical projects for Marelli, emphasizing functional safety and compliance. Manfredi holds a Master's degree in Energetic and Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and possesses comprehensive expertise in safety analyses, risk assessments, and project management methodologies.
