David Smith has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. David is currently a Chief Development Officer at Summize, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to that, they were a Senior Web Developer & Portal Team Lead at Ivanti from 2014. Before that, they worked at PZ Cussons as a Business Process and Applications Manager from 2013 to 2014 and as an SSC Applications Manager from 2011 to 2012. From 2002 to 2011, David held positions at PZ Cussons as a Business Systems Application Manager and a Business Systems Developer. David started their career in 1992 as a Programmer at Tandem Computers and has since worked at ExpertEyes, S1 Corporation, Deluxe Corporation, Kinetic North, and PZ Cussons in various roles.

From 1988 to 1990, David Smith attended the University of South Wales where they pursued a degree in Computer Studies and successfully completed a Higher National Diploma (HND).
